Most parents find themselves asking this question: When should my child go to the dentist? According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (www.aapd.org), children should start seeing a dentist around age one. Some may say within six months or their first tooth erupting. Most children get their first tooth around six months of age. It’s important to have an examination to make sure things are healthy, and it also helps your child get used to the idea of coming to the dentist.
